A glance at our office
We love our beautiful, old parquet, even if it creaks. High-tech and vintage are a brilliant mix for us, young and old in our team too. We celebrate diversity – in talents, temperament and style. In our projects, we favour a clear approach. We always combine experience with curiosity and knowledge with the desire to learn. We know the quality of face-to-face encounters. That is why we care about press trips and on-site meetings so much: at home and abroad, we meet publishers, authors, curators, journalists, artists and media spokespersons. We visit editorial offices and go to book fairs, congresses, conferences, workshops, literary festivals and museums. On the move and in the office, whether in Freiburg or Berlin, our project teams are a guarantee for creative input and reliability.
And behind the scenes?
Here, too, it’s all about the right mixture. Our permanent team of long-time PR managers appreciate the fresh input of our trainees. Flexible working hours and home office correspond to individual life plans, which we also appreciate. We like to network with enthusiasm, enjoy training courses such as speed reading and InDesign or explore the latest developments of artificial intelligence in our in-house AI lab. And of course, our ‘paperless office’-strategy is good for the climate, just like coming to work by bike – which no dress code restricts.
We love our organic fruit amid all the beautiful books. And we cultivate special moments: spontaneous snacking on the roof terrace, fine dining under chandeliers on special occasions, walking through the Black Forest with alpacas, cooking online with a professional kitchen chef during the pandemic, creative tinkering in a perfume workshop… Our daily office routine at BUCH CONTACT is dynamic and always open to new input.
